Fundraiser

Administer fundraising programs and activities for nonprofit organization. Assist in identifying funding sources and opportunities. Identify and initiate contact with funding entities and individuals to solicit financial support. Develop relationships with funding representatives. Participate in grant proposal preparation for potential funding opportunities. Carry out special fundraising events and coordinate with other staff and volunteers as necessary. Participate in advocacy efforts. Work with the Director of Marketing & Communications to develop targeted outreach activities aimed at increasing the donor pool.

Master’s degree in Management, Business or related field and two years of experience working in finance and USAID & DOS grants management for a nonprofit. Two years of experience with ERP Navision required. Must have experience developing cost proposals for USAID and State Department funding opportunities.
