Help civilians in Gaza

Hundreds of civilians in Gaza are injured and thousands more displaced. Our team, which has been in Gaza since 1996, is providing psychosocial support, rehabilitation care and assistive devices like wheelchairs to impacted children and families.c_Mahmud-Hams_AFP__A_crowd_of_people_stand_among_rubble_in_Gaza._A_man_carries_a_young_girl__who_has_blood_on_her_face..jpg

Even before the bombing stopped, donors made it possible for families to safely evacuate their homes and people with disabilities to navigate displacement. Now, with the ceasefire in effect, Humanity & Inclusion teams can render critical care to the civilians in Gaza who need it most.

Here’s what you can do to help:

$50 can provide hygiene kits for 10 people
$100 can provide food vouchers to five families
$180 can provide an emergency wheelchair

Your donation today will help aging adults, children, and their families—among them, people with disabilities—recover after these violent clashes.

Please note: Humanity & Inclusion is strictly an impartial humanitarian actor. That means our teams often work in highly contentious settings, all over the world, with a laser focus on the needs of civilians. The organization understands how the conflict is affecting people on either side of the border, and our staff are responding in Gaza, where access to rehabilitation care, mobility devices, and basic aid is limited.

Every gift, whatever the amount, makes a real difference to the lives of people with disabilities around the world. Your gift will be used wherever the need is greatest. Thank you.

Humanity & Inclusion

Co-recipient of the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize, Humanity & Inclusion (the new name of Handicap International) is a 39-year-old independent and impartial aid organization working in situations of poverty, exclusion, conflict and disaster. We work alongside people with disabilities and vulnerable populations, taking action and bearing witness in order to respond to their essential needs, improve their living conditions and promote respect for their dignity and fundamental rights.

None of the funds donated through this website will benefit activities in the following countries: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, the Crimea Region, or Syria. Humanity & Inclusion does not have programs in all of these countries.
