Humanity & Inclusion will be at the fantastically festive Winter Wonderwheels race event on Sunday 1st December. Taking place at beautiful Dorney Lake, Windsor, Winter Wonderwheels is a one-of-a-kind event for people with disabilities as well as their friends and family members.
This is your chance to don your cape or Santa suit and take part in a fun and fully inclusive race whilst raising life-changing funds for our work with people with disabilities who are living in some of the most difficult situations imaginable.
This wonderful pre-Christmas event is part of the Superhero Series, the UK’s only disability sport series dedicated to the ‘Everyday Superhero’ and their friends and family! Expect fun, full-throttle challenges that let people with disabilities call the shots. There’ll be no cut-off times and all types of gadgets and gismos are welcome, from day chairs, handcycles, walking frames and trikes to tandems, race runners, blades and bikes!

‘Everyday Superheroes’ are invited to cycle, walk, run, push, or anything in between, around Dorney’s spectacular lake. There are three distances to choose from – 1km, 5km and 10km – and you can go solo or unite to enter a team. All solo entrants or at least one team member must consider themselves to have disability (of any kind).

The unique challenges are only the beginning. There’ll be lots of festive entertainment laid on, from Christmas carols to wonderfully warming food and drink available to buy – even Father Christmas will be making a special appearance! Bring your whole family down to enjoy a great day out and cheer on our teams.
