Parallel London: Celebrate inclusion while raising life-changing funds

Inclusion
International

Taking place in London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in September 2017, Parallel London is the world’s first fully accessible, inclusive fun run. Run it, walk it, push it, or be pushed. Anything goes!

Inclusion is at the heart of everything we do and fundraising is no exception. That’s why we are delighted to have five free places for this year’s Parallel London event on Sunday 3rd September 2017.

Now in it's second year, Parallel London is an award-winning mass-participation fun run event. With course distances of 10km, 5km, 1km and 100 meters to choose from, the best thing about Parallel is that anyone can get involved.

You don’t need to fancy yourself as the next Hannah Cockroft or Jonnie Peacock, all you need to do is to turn up and have fun. Whether you walk, wheel, run, skip, or hop, Parallel London is designed for all abilities and ages.

The HI team had a fantastic time at last year’s event, which had a brilliant atmosphere (thanks to whole families racing together, live music, and even free cheese on toast). As well as the fun run, Parallel London also includes a free family festival with bands, theater, food, and a whole host of activities across nine different zones.

Take part in Parallel London

Adult places are usually £31 but we have five free places for anybody wanting to have a great day out whilst fundraising for people with disabilities in some of the poorest countries in the world.

If you have any questions about taking part in Parallel London please contact John at Handicap International UK, by emailing campaigns.uk[at]hi.org or calling 0870 774 3737.
