Storm after storm is devastating Madagascar this cyclone season. Heavy rains, strong winds and flooding are ravaging communities, claiming lives and destroying homes. The people of Madagascar need your help now!
Tropical Storm Ana. Cyclone Batsirai. Tropical Storm Dumako. Cyclone Emnati. Vincent Dalonneau, Humanity & Inclusion's country director for Madagascar calls this "the most intense" cyclone season he's ever seen.
Working in Madagascar since 1986, Humanity & Inclusion's team is on the ground providing inclusive emergency care to people who need it most.
Even before Cyclone Batsirai struck, our teams were helping local partners and communities prepare for its impact by sharing family emergency plans and reviewing emergency response systems. Now, in the storm's wake and ahead of Cyclone Emnati, Humanity & Inclusion is distributing essential items, including water cans, cooking kits, blankets and mosquito nets. Teams will also provide rehabilitation care to people with injuries, mental health and psychosocial support, reconstruction support and cash assistance as communities recover and rebuild from these powerful storms.
Your gift can make a critical impact.
$150 can provide 5 cooking supply kits to displaced individuals $500 can provide 8 families with blankets and mosquito nets $1,000 can provide 100 rehabilitation sessions to injured people
