Haiti | Responding to Hurricane Matthew

On Oct. 4, Haiti was hit by a Category 4 hurricane, which killed over 1,000 Haitians, and affected more than 2.1 million people. Handicap International teams are responding, ensuring that no one is left on the sidelines when aid is available, and keeping a close eye on people with disabilities, chronic conditions, as well as older people. Our emergency logistics expertise ensure aid reaches the most remote areas, no matter the obstacles.
