Sina works as an occupational therapist at the Basma hospital rehabilitation center in Jordan. Since HI set up a specialist pediatric unit for neurological disorders, she has been working with children with cerebral palsy.

Latin and Central America against the bombing of populated areas 12/04/18
On 5th and 6th December 2018, Humanity & Inclusion will organize a regional conference in Santiago, the capital of Chile, on protecting civilians from bombing. Twenty-six governments and some thirty civil society organizations and international NGOs will attend. The organization hopes to raise awareness of this crucial issue and encourage States to take a stand against the use of explosive weapons in populated areas.

Yemen: "A rocket blew up not far from me" 11/22/18
Twelve-year-old Zakarya is the eighth child of a poor family who live in a small village in northern Yemen. His life changed dramatically when he was injured in a rocket attack and doctors had to amputate his left leg.

Ibrahim lost his leg after being injured by shrapnel in Syria. Now walking again with a prosthesis, he has learnt to do his own repairs. But he is still facing barriers to being employed and his family struggles to get by.

Myriam: "I was amputated straight away" 11/14/18
Myriam lost her leg during bombing raids in Syria. She received first aid before being directly transferred to Jordan. HI provided her with a prosthesis and rehabilitation sessions, and she is now able to walk again.
